Since it was suggested that it would be good having them on a sunday, its been set for a sunday, at 4pm so its still going to be light.

If the usualls from Darlington want to meet up 30 mins before hand at Morton park we can do that

I have the owners permission to post this and thank God the driver is safe and well.

9 cars made it to Teesside Park today but sadly only 8 of them left under their own power with one being unceremoniously dumped on the back of a recovery truck with the aid of a Hiab and a large chain through its roof.

What could have been a very serious and possibly injurious situation was saved by what appears to have been a very solid shell and a Sparco seat.

I am loath to post the owners name at this point as he is no doubt still in shock, but Alex will be posting some photo's on his return home, again with the owners permission.

Can I just add that the driver of the vehicle was not acting in any dangerous or foolish manner and I believe that the accident was as a result of a limited slip diff not enjoying a tyre blowout on the rear as the car left a roundabout.

i'm still gob smacked at how easy it left the road.
i agree with the tyre theory,so sorry to see it like a banana :(

let's hope he get's his mojo back together and takes up the shell on offer ^Good man

No offence guys, but can we keep this to the main thread in E30chat, no point in having two threads to discuss the same thing.

Cheers
