My local has just won CAMRA pub of the Season (autumn 09, judged through the summer) and I thought I'd share it with any zoners who want to have a go. It's a pretty place and has some great country driving roads on the route. If you're on an 80mm drop you might want to take it a bit easy, but there are no speed cameras.*
The pub is the Bay Horse in Terrington which is about 20 minutes East of York. Rob the landlord brews his own beer, and it is bloody good
The place rarely shuts before 1am on a Friday and there are rooms available if you check with Rob. He's not an official BnB but there are 5 rooms available for "crash landings" if you check with him first. I've warned him of the date and he guaranteed clean sheets!
Parking is front or back, I guess if its a nice day we can park out the front and sit out there gazing over the gleam of gently rusting E30s
I'm trying not to clash with any other events, so please treat this as an addition to the calendar - and drag along any mates you like. The pub is friendly and suitable for wives/girlfriends so you might even get some brownie points out of it. Well, come out even at least....
I'll scan and post the menu as soon as I leave the pub sober enough to remember to take one with me.

*but there are cops with speedguns on the A64 so I'd advise taking the backroads if you've got SatNav.
