Damn thing won't start! RAC man seemed to think it is the Crank Position sensors in the Bell housing?? Just wondered if a local Zoner would mind dropping in so I could swap senders over etc to see if that was the case! Then I don't have to spunk money on stuff that is not needed

if you do get someone to come to your rescue, it'll need to be someone else with a pre-facelift 325 as the post '88 models have the sensor on the front pulley

fuel pump problem

was it turning over when it wasnt starting

It would run if you sprayed EZ start into the air filter so it has a spark!!!

So it could be either fuel pump or fuel pump relay??? Last night it wasn't sending any signal to the injectors though..........So Crank position sensors???

might be worth replacing it then you can tick it off the list,

i had a similar problem with mine, whilst i had the carpets out i pulled loads of old alarm wire out and cut something that was earthed what i thought was an old alarm wire, turned out to be something that was bypassing an old immobiliser, it had kicked in and i had no way of dissarming it
