Midlands Meet 12th April 2009

Right, the venue and date have now been confirmed for the first E30 Zone Midlands Meet”¦”¦.

Sunday 12th April at 2:00pm at the Toby Carvery on Stonebridge Island.

The Pub is located just off Junction 6 of the M42 on the A45 heading towards Coventry. It has a nice big car park and a beer garden out front, food isn’t too bad either!!

Judging by the response so far on the first thread this should be a great meet and the start of a regular monthly Midlands meet, next date to be confirmed.

Here’s an amended up to date list, just add ”aConfirmed”a after your name if your coming along.

Weston Park is situated on the A5 at Weston Under Lizard, Shifnal, Shropshire. TF11 8LE
- 6 Miles from Junction 12 M6

Personally guys i'd rather change the date of the first meet that have it here for all sorts of reasons, see other midlands meet thread.

Lurch your more than welcome to organise the festival meet if you want

i just emailed the show organisers to see hoqw many cars we can get on a stand.

i have shown a few cars in previous years at this show. it is well organised and a real good day out for all the family. you can even camp over at night if you want.

If people feel that they want to go o the festival on the day of the first meet, simple solution is to change the date of the first meet.

We need to be clear on waht we are doing, running around in circles will lead to people not knowing whats going on, and ultimately not going to any of the meets.

I thought it would be eay to organise a meet for those midland zoners who wanted a regular thing, obviously i was wrong.

If we dont get this sorted it will lead to nothing happening.

I'll be there on the 12th, even if on my own....................

Original venue is better for me as nearer, but was happy to go to Weston.
Stick to original and i will be there. Hopefully can still meet at Markeaton
with Imys and Initial and any others and cruise down to Toby...

Out in the beast today , with Mattsbmw in his cleaned polished and roofs down...fantastic and looking forward to meet up . We even stopped for a photoshoot !!!
Will be good to catch up with you fellas.
