I am proud to anounce that I have adopted the Car Clubs Cadwell Park trackday.
There is no better way than to start off the track day season than with a breath of fresh spring air at Cadwell Park in deepest Lincolnshire - the mini Nurburgring.
The format will be just the same as at Croft - I can't wait!
The date has been booked and confirmed..
Wednesday 13th May 2009.
£150 each
All BMWs welcome.
Booking office open now.

No - you have to pay first, then a few weeks later turn up!Jason318is wrote:hi, is it simply a case of turn up and pay??

All my track day places are sold on a first come first served basis and are usually all sold out a good few weeks ahead of the event.. you could chance just turning up in the hope that someone can't come on the day, but it would be a gamble.
To do it properly you need to get an entry form from the organiser (in this case - me) and send it in with your payment. This gives the organiser chance to have everything prepared beforehand as it would be an absolute nightmare booking folk in on the day.
The car you use is entirely up to you - standard road cars are absolutely fine and dandy as they are.
I have the entry packs here on my PC - let me know if you want one emailing over.

No offense intended here - but no, I don't reserve places anymore for folk I don't know as I have been let down once too many times to my own cost.turkey wrote:I don't suppose you take deposit's/reserve till closer the time, as may's a fare time away and i defo want to come but not sure if my car will still be alive by then!?!
The only way of securing your place is to pay for it. We do accept cards though if that will help you spread the cost.
There is no rush at the moment as we have two trackdays left this season - but once Oulton is out of the way in November they will be queueing up for Cadwell.

1; yes, more than likely - although if there are a high number of novices I may run morning sessions and OP afternoon.
2; just enough to cover the circuit hire and the insurance - No firm prices yet for next year though, but I should know the exact figure soon enough - I'm guessing around 55 cars again to make it pay.

Subject: BMWCC Cadwell Park trackday 13th May
Less than six weeks to go now before we go to Cadwell Park for our annual springtime trackday.
There will not be a mail drop of entry forms for this one as the old mailing list has gone astray ”“ if you know any of the Cadwell regulars that may be waiting for one and that may not receive this email could you please tell them to get in touch with me.
We will be running an open pit lane this year rather than the usual sessions ”“ it works very well at Croft and Oulton Park and I am sure you will all love it at Cadwell also.
Please note that we are starting with a zero fund this year and have nothing in the kitty ”“ so I am afraid your complimentary breakfasts and lunches will have to be forfeited this time ”“ the clubhouse and restaurant will of course be open as usual.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call me, I am only a phone call away on 01225 709009
regards
Nick
