sounds good to me, where we go etc depends on weather and amount of people, on the plus side we'll be going right past my house at one point if anyone just cant hold it till the pubSaturday looks to be a wet one. I suggest getting up, having some brekkie and look to hit a road trip by midday, pending the Saturday people arriving in time.

So plenty of options for saturday night. Including a beach party, a house party, a night on the tiles or even a second evening on site.
I'd suggest we catch the bus into town and sink a few bevvies!

just thought, if it does rain on sat, the roads will be much clearer and think of the tyre wear you'll save

yeah think so. a while since ive been out there, theres def plenty of choice, ive allways liked the central as its quite central(go figure
) as a bar, Koola bar has great R+B etc, Sailors is apparently the best big club along with Berties, hopefully, as its not really the season yet, prices should'nt be too silly.

Cool.
Yeah, Sailors lacks atmosphere and berties thinks it's Cream.
Just my preference for the other music styles, more atmosphere and a better vibe at those sort of places, a bit more class.
I'm not worried where we end up.
LOL I just remembered my mate pi$$ing himself in Sailors as he couldn't find the loos!! He was wasted, I laughed loads at him!

If anyone is not going now, can they let me know here please??
I don't want to sit about in Exeter waiting all afternoon for someone to show that conveniently forgot to let the rest of us know, bad form.
Already started my jorney, stopped off at Dorking, will be out the door early to meet you midday

Your directions mate.
You also have PM.
If you zoom in into the newquay area, the following detail will make more sense, google maps wants to take you throug some back lanes.
I'd stay on the a30 until St Columb turning, follow that to Quintrel Downs. At this point, you'll have 'Sunnysiders' cCampsite on your left, then you'll hit a roundabout. Take the right exit and this will take you into Newquay. You'll cross the train line immediately after exiting the roundabout.
As you start to hit Newquay, you'll come aroung a long sweeping left lander, the road straightens up, you'll see speed camera and a garage on your right. Shortly afterwards, you'll hit a busy mini roundabout. Right turn again, picking up signs for Porth.
Follow this road into Porth, it drops to sea level, the Beach will be on your left and a fish and chipp + TKD dojo on your right, IIRC. The road then climbs up the other side of the beach, quite steeply, just before the peak of the hill, there is a largish, multi storey hotel with a right turn before it. Take the (second-ish, there's a cul-de-sac immediately before)right turn into what is tantamount to a tarmac'd lane, called Trevelgue Road
You'll pass 2 campsites, the 3rd is the one you want, Tregustick. http://www.thpark.co.uk/ is the website
http://www.thpark.co.uk/enqs.html#1 is their directions.
You have my number, see you tonight.

Anyone fancy PMing Nathan's number to me? Won't be meeting at Exeter (never was going to - some of us have to work!), but will hopefully see you all later...
(would have sorted this last night but couldn't get on the zone - typical!)

Only me and Lisa & Paul in the convoy, the diesel may join us this evening, if not then in the morning.
Don't know about anyone else mate, but anyone's free to join us. We're going A35 through Honiton.
See ya there peeps.

The alternative for me would be Hannah reading the map. A girl reading a map?! Thank goodness for technology. & yes, I do realise that I've just jinxed myself & I'll never find it.munky30 wrote:
