ok im struggling getting my head round this one lol
so i guess that people are going to the camp site on satarday then messing about till the night then sleep the night till sunday and then go to santa pod all day then go home?
the questions im still unsaw on are
when on the satarday do we turn up ?
and what tickets do i need to buy?
and where is the camp site? (anybody got a postcode?)
also is the above correct?
thanks
josh

that's no excuse!
first time i carried my touring there on a trailer, socond time i carried it home on a tow truck!
been there twice now and only managed the journey there once under my own power :)

Josh,
people will probably turn up at various times during the saturday, probably a few mini convoys from various places i guess. stay saturday night, get piiiished, eat lees burned BBW sausages, stay for the BMW show on sunday, go home.
you'll need a weekend ticket. buy from either the santa pod site or on the gate for a few £ more.
the camp site runs up the side of the strip, you drive through it to get in.

hi josh we were santa pod virgins just come back from the retro weekend there. From one girl to another the toilets are fine the showers are £1.50 but next time we will take a bottle of water and a bowl wash in the tent much easier. Not many people wash and one set of clothes is all your going to need as you will eat, drink and sleep in them. Stay calm as long as you have a tent, air bed, a sleeping bag and some burgers for lees famous barby you'll be fine. Reggies babe (Bev). :D

Ill bring my BBQ along as well, if anyone wants to cook their food on it you welcome. The heat beads I use stay hot for hours. Is a crate of beer going to be enough? Quick tip fill an ice cream tub with water and freeze it for the cold box, ice cold beers.

Anyone got a pump for an inflatable bed? otherwise I will just have to bring a foot pump.

I stilll have all the paper cups Tylerman gave me last year, ill bring them to

Regarding your question about power supply, I didn't see any last year but it might be worth asking santa pod themselves if they have anything: http://www.santapod.co.uk/index.php

Hi! Emailed the pod no electric hook up can bring generators.
The general view from the Gaydon meet this year is that people maybe spotting the cars from the zone but r still non the wiser to who owns them. Nobody wats to sit with their car all day or have a cheesy photo of themselves in the window screen so maybe the name badge idea has to be seriously considerd.

I'll be there with wifey, tent, bags, booze...

So if I buy the £20 weekend ticket in advance, turn up on Saturday, get wasted on the night with camping included. Another £20 on Sunday for unlimited Runs on the strip. (Presuming handling and drift circuits are extras.)

That about right?
