Aye Gray, I'm fine
Not a scratch

Just got to find another tourer or go for something with less doors

Maybe a 325i Sport or a 325i cabby

What happened?
Back end stepped out on a corner and i slightly over corrected and fought it for a wee bit then rolled onto the roof and back onto it's wheels

The verge was rather soft and the wheels dug in to the axles
Got pulled out, i checked the sump/rad/ steering/brakes were ok and drove the old barge home

funny thing is, all the glass is still intact, just the front pillars aren't where they should be and the windscreen no longer fits

There's the usual front end damage and the roof is caved in slightly and something caved in the floor under the passenger seat

Other than that, it's all good

Not a scratch on me

It's what you would call a "good" accident
Nno one hurt and they all walked away

Jeez, Dave - you were lucky!
Sorry to hear about the touring, but I'm sure you'll be back in an even better E30 soon.
Have a JD for me.

Feck me Dave that must of been a frightening moment for you.
I know of a red touring for sale but its a 316 or 318 it looks in not bad nick can go have a good look for you if need be.

Cheers Grant

Will do

I might have sorted another tourer out already(only a 4 pot but that can easily be rectified)

Will consider a 325 sport or even a cabby if it's got the right bits on it(leccy roof/leather sports seats/tech 2 kit and wahtever else)

Wasn't what you'd call frightening/scary etc
More like one of those OH SHIIIIIITT moments where you think "this is gonna hurt" but didn't
Apart from in the wallet/bank balance

Thanks for the offer Jake.
I might take you up on the offer(i'll be in touch).

If you can get any more details 1st, that would be brilliant.
Spec/price/mot? tax? etc.

I've got to go look at Grant's old K reg 4 pot tourer as well(318i) IIRC
gotta have a chat with him 1st about it

It needs a couple of wee bits doingAFAIK but I could swap things over from mine to make it better.

Namely the 6 pot motor/obc/leccy sunroof/interior/brakes/suspension/all the audio eqpt etc etc.

Might make more sense just transferring things over at the moment

Not sure how she's looking these days, but I loved that touring!
BTW, Dave she's a 316 (interesting reg plate too!)
Here's a wee reminder of how she was.....

Cool!
Hope you get either this Dave, or something else soon. (might even save the touring from the "other project" it's lined up for).

There's also a good few meets lined up this year and we need you there!
AND I got an ICE install I need you to have a look at as well  .

Just one of those things Gary :cursin:

The most important bits all seem to be ok. :woohoo:
Brakes were fine on the drive home afterwards :thumb:
Engine seemed to be ok and the ICE is still there and should be all good
Sub cabinet/amps etc didn't budge a bit
Cant say the same about the tool bag or the shopping that was on the back seat
Most importantly, the bottles off beer were OK
