Hi Guys,
I was just wondering How much will this cost? and will the cars get any tuning done to them?
sorry for the ignorance guys and it has probably been mentioned but I missed it.

£40 fella, no tuning done, just enough runs to get a consistent result.Onz wrote:Hi Guys,

Sal, when they are on the rollers how far do you push the revs? never to a rolling road session but would love to find out what my car does, also what tips would you advise on before bringing the car down?
im talking maintenance wise?
iv just done my oil change but anything else you recommend?
maybe best to do this once gearlever has been sorted properly! but your info would help, Luton is only about 45mins-1 hour away from Croydon pending on traffic so easy trip up and £40.00 seems reasonable as long as my car doesnt blow!

With regards to the maintenance, check all fluid levels and for any leaks. If you have an M20 or M40 engine when was your cam belt last changed? If it needs doing then its not advisable to take an engine to its rev imit.
A slipping clutch is no good either.
Hope this helps.

Hi Mate, cambelt was changed earlier this year me and the old man dont trust any owner with cambelt and always change them with every car we buy.
fluids are all good! Hmmm..... its tempting, very tempting my clutch is not slipping but i need to get under the car to sort out the gear lever there is too much play in it where the bushes have gone and sometimes first gear is a bit stiff! well i have a week to sort it!
appreciate the offer with the trail down there!!!! I'll see if i can get to Coopers this weekend to fix my car with my old man!

Nice to see a 10+ list.
We do as many runs as it takes to get a consistent result. Normally this is around 3-4.
We try not to hit the rev limit as peak power and torque fall off way before that anyway.
Each session is going to be around 20-30 mins. We have to allow the intake temps to stabalise, no point running a car with 50 degrees intake temp.
Graphs printed and given out:
Estimated Flywheel power vs Estimated Flywheel Torque
Actual Power at wheels vs Lambda
Tyre pressures are all checked and taken to a level where the tyres will not distort against the rollers. This is normally around 35-40 Psi.
We urge everyone to check their oil levels before handing the car over to us. We also ask everyone to make sure they are getting full throttle.
Once your session is over you'll be taken through your graphs.
Wrap up warm because it's very cold. The colder it is the more we like it!
Oh, and it gets really really loud in there aswell! The fan is a brute.
Look forward to testing the 320iS!

Hi Guys,
Just another reminder - please check your oil levels and coolant levels.
Don't worry about tyre pressures too much, we will be setting them on the dyno.
See you all tommorrow.

The colder the better!
It is extremely cold in the unit - just the way we like it.
Cars should put down some good power.
Wrap up warm!

Just some last min directions:
Get off at Juntion 11 of the M1.
If your coming from the South take the third exit at the roundabout, if your coming from the north take the 1st.
At the traffic lights take a left.
Take the third exit on the rounabout.
Go to the end of the road at take a right.
You'll come to another roundabout with a BP and Mcdonalds on it.
Take the first exit.
Go over two mini roundabouts.
You'll see a speed camera on your left hand side.
Take the first exit into Luton Enterprise Park.
You have arrived.
