LOL
Wasn't really on the hunt for anything inperticular, and then this came up out of the Blue.
Sebring Grey, 325i switchable auto Motorsport cab, 112k, 1990 H reg in really pleasing condition with bubble leather seats + leather every thing else - basically a traditional Motorsport as you would expect it to be.
Sarah loved it and took to the auto driving style like a duck to water, luckily for me everything came together on her birthday
smiles all round.
Neil.

Well done Neil. Sounds as good as it looks. Lucky Sarah. I'm jealous even if you're not. Hope she's better now after the last Baur incident...Nelly wrote:Wasn't really on the hunt for anything inperticular, and then this came up out of the Blue.

Check out the links in my first post. Basically its a big meet for all kinds of BMWs 3's, 5's, 7's, 8's of all ages just getting together for a chinwag. Chance to meet members from all over not just your local meets. It is a one day event.4u2nvy wrote:hi guys, sounds like this event is kind of a big1 and 1 to attend. could sum1 tell me more about it?where you guys meet u and ime?? and is it just for that day?iv just bought my first e30 and would like to tag along...

Run your car up the drag strip, drift area, show and shine, watch some drag racing including jet cars. We counted 92 E30's in our area last year, everything from stockers to highly modified to track day cars something for everyone.
Meeting wise depends where you are based, southern guys met up at Sounth Mims sevices near the bottom of the M1 and convoyed up together or just turn up at Santa pod you can buy tickets on the gate

Kids allowed along?
Got a 3 year old who's mad on BMW's and would probably enjoy the day more than me
Didn't realise Santa Pod was as close as it is? Am definitely up for it, but will give the strip a miss.. This year, at least

Having used the BBQ a few times I have realised that if I take it it will not be cool enough to put back in the car at the end of the day so I will leave it at home.

Bazza front page updated
Just a reminder people if you have not booked your tickets you can do so via the santapod link in the first post. £15 on the gate or £12 if you prebook. There is a £1 postage cost so you only save £2

Have spoken to the London based organisers of the show and also to the groundstaff at Santapod today and they are very co-operative towards the Zone.
It is likely we will get a show area right next to the grandstand this time and we will have our own water bowser so no trekking to clean cars.
Mods and admin will be on the gate and at the display area in hi-viz vests to shepherd you peeps in.
Noting suggestions so far for display which are:
Highly modded
Tuners (Alpina - Hartge - Schnitzer - etc)
Saloons
Tourings
Cabs
We will run our own Zone cafe (contributions only for drinks etc)
Two Zone photographers
Limited amount of merchandise
Any other thoughts peeps ?
Buy tickets in advance to save money !
