I don't think we'll be doing much with the cars anyway, i'm looking forward to the bonfire, bbq and beers. Just hoping the weather is good.


And we need more people to come along! I have spent all day cutting the field down today and i'm worried its gonna be me and a few others!

Field has been cut, now the boring process of raking it all up We're about half way with that too...

Had to copy and paste the 2 halfs together, excuse my brilliant mspaint skills... Doesnt look too big in a picture, but if you zoom in a little, there is a hedge row of bushs at the back, in the middle, to the right there is a white mark... Thats a pony... So its a big old space... Proper killed me off too.

Weekend at Jimmy's

Date - September 10th/11th (Sat/Sun)

Location - Old Woodhouse Farm, Burbage Common Lane, LE9 7SE, Leicester

Time - Anytime after 3pm on saturday... Turning up on sunday, say 11am/12pm, but any time is welcome to be honest.

For camping, we'll be located where the orange line is in the picture... I shall be mowing it down on the thrudays/friday before hand so nice short grass...




Toilets - I have thought about this one yet but I will get back to you... We have a static caravan that is sitting empty up here so if we can get it plumbed in before hand, we'll have that for the toilet. My dogs arent as welcoming to randoms coming into the house...

If that fails, i'll look into renting a portable loo...


Bring your own food and drinks etc, bbq's welcome, I have mine but only so much food I can fit on it.

Anyone into fishing, bring your kit along for a spot of night fishing... Just keep your noise down and dont liter. Its a private lake which you can see in the picture, not massive, but has a good selection of fish...


The rest who arent into fishing... I dont know what to say, we'll just drink or something.


Not sure what kinda numbers i'll get for this, but all are welcome. If it brings alot of interest, I may have to cap it off at a certain number, if it doesnt, then, ahh well!

Any questions, ask... I'll try and answer etc... If I have met you at a meet before and we have had a good conversation, and you know my partner by her fiurst name, i'll be upset if I dont see you here...

Thanks fella. Only issue i'm looking at though is the damn weather! I think this will be a good trial run though for future meets we could have at mine. I have the space cater for a fair few zoners coming up here so hopefully the more often we do it the more start to come.


Next time I think i'll get a bouncy castle hired too I love bouncy castles after I have had a drink. I'm sure other zoners would play too...


Doubt we'll get another one in this year though as the weather never seems to stay too good from now on.

But definately next year we'll get 3 or 4 in. Well worth your drive up as well Skip!

Just so everyone knows, this will be going ahead unless its absolutely chucking it down on saturday afternoon. I dont mind if we do this in the rain, we'll have a fairly big gazebo up and its not like I have to travel far

Have loads of wood in the garage mate from the house renovation and to be fair need to burn it to make room for the tech 1 for the winter........ however not gonna put it in the beemer so will have to bring my new piece of Jap shite which I have heard is not allowed, mind you it is 4wd so mind be useful to pull all of our rear wheel drive German warriors out of the field if it pishes it down

As for the wood, I would prefer to see your sport up here. We should have enough wood for the fire, i'll be out finding more anyway if need be.

Well, this is tomorrow now. Looking at the weather forcast websites, its mixed info... One site saying light rain tomorrow, one saying sunshine and one saying cloudy... Then the same sunday but with one saying heavy thunder


Regardless, i'm gonna be out there... We'll have a 3 x 9 metre gazebo set up too hopefully so if it does rain, we can still have beer and bbq.


Hopefully its a good turn out! I'll update and bump this up again in the morning just incase a few more local zoners want to come along.

I know. Its taken bloody ages to get this field sorted and i'm blaming it all on Matt for not helping last Sunday.


Jonny has bought loads of grub to bring along, the missus went mad last night at Asda so we also have loads. We got 24 buns so might be worth someone else picking up some extra buns rather than food...

We didnt get any council processed cheese slices though which I would have like so someone bring some of them too.


I have 30 bottles of Stella so lots to drink But everyone still bring a few as I dont want to just have 2 bottles and its all gone.
