An 8.30am meet is a very early start for me and I'm not sure I will be with it enough ( because of my morning drugs ) to get down.
I'll have to see how I feel the night before and either say yeah or Nai then.

Not everyone can get on the rollers at once, so I guess late comers will be OK. Up to Dave to confirm though.

yes mark i reckon if people turn up after say 9.30 ish they will also be able to get on the rollers , as mark said we wont all be on the rollers at the same time .
me mick and keith will be leaving mine at 7.30 to be there for 8 ish i recon . so if any one wonts to tag along that will be fine .
adit and rob will be along after 8.30 i guess

ROLL UP to the rollers folks,
bring your lumps of iron and see how many ponies are still alive and kicking!
less than 1 week to go,the price is right so come on down!
normal cost around £80,

Won't be on the rollers anyway, I haven't got enough ponies to worry about...
Hopefully will be there early anyway, as long as I don't have to go into work.
Worst case scenario, I'll be there 12.30, should be there WELL before that though...

So who is actually going on the rollers then!?! Seems to be Mark, HKF, Dave and Mick.
I might pop down, but as before, no point in me putting on a car on a different set of rollers.

john does his at castle coombe
jack gets his done in soton
whos is right and whos is wrong whats the point in any one else have a machine if all are wrong and the 1 john uses is right ( metaphoricly speeking ) bad spelling

There is no problem with these rollers! It's just for comparable tests you want to use the same set as they all read a bit different.
For example in a years time if you fit a 2.7m20 Dave, you would 100% want to take it back to the same set of rollers, I.E Triton.
For the 205, the only car I have worth testing, as I have changed one camshaft and chipped it, I need it to go back on Pauls. I am not saying if one rollers is right and one is wrong. If I had never been on a rolling road before I would have put my name down, attended and run the car.
Nothing more, nothing less. I hope the day is successful for you, but getting people to commit and put there car on a rolling road is for some strange reason harder than it seems!
Despite being safer than testing out a 25mph to 110mph thrash on the road.

May be interesting for you to put your car on anyway though Jon, just to see what difference there is between the two sets of rollers, rather than the difference between this time and last time.
Either way, lets not turn this into a slanging match again.
Meet or not, I will lock or edit the thread if this turns into a bitch fest again.

This site is weird sometimes. No bitching going on EVER from my side anyhow.
I'll happily put it on but I am not paying out for it I am afraid. Skint student.

Dave, there may be no difference at all, but may be just a slight difference in readings due to equipment used, which may be significant if you're after the most BHP. If you change something which should add 5bhp, and the rolling road is 4 or 5 bhp different to the rolling road you first set the car up on, then the difference may not be visible, or the difference may be seen to be 10bhp.
However, how critical it is I wouldn't like to say as a rolling road can give slightly different readings anyway due to outside temperature, engine and gearbox temperatures, how much air is being blown through the front, even fuel from a different garage on the way.

It is as far as we're concerned. We don't care about the last 0.1 of a bhp.
If you're looking for what improvement you've made, as Jon says, use the same rollers.
Though that's not guaranteed 100% as I said, due to to temperatures, fuels etc, it's probably still closer than adding another unknown quantity into the mix.

I'll bring my readout from Fritz's mate.
112.9bhp to beat. If you can't do that... you've got REAL problems...

I think I will pass for dynoing my car as I just don't have the cash spare to do the runs. I'm going to come down later in the morning if that's ok ( Gordon could you pm me your number please ). I would enjoy a day down that way and I've got to take a look around a few places as the three of us are thinking of moving down that way very soon

I'm still debating coming along. Do I need to get there for 8.00/8.30 if I want to dyno my car? That's a bit too early for me
It's a fair old drive from me as it is.

Paul, i'm not sure on the list as its difficult to know who is going and who isn't.
I'm going to try and get down for about 9 ish and hang round for a few hours, but the 540 isn't going on.
Bagsy on Marks turd producing more power than the 4 pots!
