How did the Ace meet go?

Anyone want to make a list of mobile numbers? Would make sense incase one of us gets lost / breaks down - would also mean I don't have to take quite so many spares if I'm confident someone else has some too! :D

Stickers going on this weekend... 8) Yours look amusing to say the least Tim!

Ziggy that looks spot on, i may have to be a copy cay there but put them down the other side to pretend to have some originality!

I was thinking of having the stripes follow the bonnet lines then straighten out on the roof and boot.

I'm tempted to do them diagonal, I think even with my long barge there will be enough. Its 5 metres after all.

But the traditional down the middle is always going to be a favourite and i might not look like an idiot.

Do it! We'll all look stupid in isolation, but a bit of variation's clearly the way forward 8)

Needn't even need more length than usual - it'll look best if you have it coming up the side of the wing, so just move the start point further back until you've got enough! :)

Bet you had tons left over. I had enough to redo one of my bonnet stipes that I cocked up. It was the first I laid and looked rank.

I didn't actually have that much left over, less than a metre. I wasted a little bit getting stuff wrong. I looked at doing it diagonal for about 5 seconds and promptly thought, screw that. Far to hard, i'd put money on someone having done it though.

Haven't done mine yet! winkeye

Going to have a go this weekend, I was thinking of doing something other than the 'viper' way, but with the little 'extra' I've got ready it wouldn't work as well!

You'll see what I mean! :D

A mate of mine who works in a bodyshop fitted my stickers today! :D

After he towed me home when my crankshaft pulley fell off! :(

Thankfully Andy335Touring is helping me out with a nut and washer which went missing!

Should have car running again tuesday evening.

My mate Dan did a very nice job with the stickers, if you can call pink viper stripes a nice job! :) He made it look easy but I'm glad I didn't try it!
