They closed the bottom of the A509, didn't get anywhere near the M1. Thank god for sat nav, fired me over to the A1. Only for some pillock in a shitron feel its his god given right to drive up my tailpipe. I wanted to tell him to Foxtrot Oscar nail the loud pedal and be gone, but traffic was too heavy, I let him pass, he can be someone elses accident.

Looked like a new 6 series convertible to me, windscreen crushed and laying on the door tops, with the amount of police and not one of them near the car, I would say they didn't get out !! Not sure how they managed to turn it over so close to a junction, couldn't have been a lot of speed.

Good weekend. Good to see the usual scummers and meet some more :)

Enjoyed watching the drifting for a while as well. Karan is obviously a hero. Didn't recognise any others e30s that were drifitng as zone cars. Didn't see you MJG as I didn't go over till late.

Very tired and sunburnt as always. :(

Who ran the best time then? Thanfully I left at about 4 I think and missed the drama near the m1.

1st Pod for me,my mate couldn't make it so I was Billy no mates. Thanks to the mods for the organisation.Good to put a few faces to names(Beardymat,Cliffy)Personlly I would have liked to have seen a few more pre E30 cars about but I guess its not their bag.Which is the best meet for a better cross section of older cars? Quite bizarre to walk around the Pod at 9am listening to Lemon Jelly playing over the Tannoy. My Favourite car on the zone section would have to be Beardymats, certainly seemed to be a crowd favourite too.Sunburnt my face too,not very clever Trevor.

This is the 1st meet I managed to do since I started having big problems with my pathetic excuse of a back. I had a bloody brilliant time. I am so glad it was before a payday because there was sooo many goodie to buy I would have spunkd my paypacket instantly.

I think the zone section was amazing well done to all who set it up. Was so many E30's was justa shame there was hardly any E30 M3's

You guys had some good cars on your stand! Still love the E30's.

I was wondering if anyone knows about the car that was on its roof by the petrol station outside Santa pod?

Looked like a E30 M3, but we were just driving past and I was trying to avoid all the stopped cars

No idea, police was blocking the road, but no instructions on how to drive, and our gps brought us every time back to the accident :p

It was no E30 though..

From an other forum
Sadly i have an update on the accident...

A man died in a road accident near the Tickford roundabout in Newport Pagnell yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

The man was in a BMW convertible with one male passenger when it turned upside down during the crash.

An air ambulance took the seriously injured passenger to hospital while the driver of the BMW died at the scene.

A second car, a Peugeot 206, was also involved. Both men from that car were injured and taken to hospital.

A Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said emergency workers put up a screen to keep the scene private from onlookers.

"It was a very serious incident," he said. "Crews from Newport Pagnell and Broughton worked extremely well in very difficult circumstances.

"Police have started a full investigation into the crash and until that is completed we are unable to say how it happened."

Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area when the crash happened - at about 3pm. They can be contacted on 0845 8 505 505.

I noticed a fair few cars on the ditch outside the track witht he RAC break down VAns all around. I think a few people have screwed their cars up and got them pushed on a public road and claimed they were not racing.

For the two of us from Oxford we hit some very heavy traffic around northampton part of the M40. I had heard that a couple of Bimmers had crashed later on last night.

BTW did anyone else get burnt? Every boody meeting I go to bar the guilford meet I get burnt like a lobster :(
