How did they know it was meant to be green?
Mind you - the rain soon washed most of that sh*t off!

I do apologise about the bar i took you all togra325i wrote:Was a great day apart from the bloody food taking ages and being crap..word of warning to anyone who might be in Fort William in future..CAPERCEILEDH..avoid at all costs..
although the rain and hail we got through glencoe was serious
It WAS better the last time i was there
The weather did deteriorate further after we left Spean Bridge and headed towards the A9
Narrow roads+RWD+heavy rain = much FUN
After safely leading Gary/Nick/Jason back to the A9 i headed down to Pitlochery just so i could do the "alternative" Glenshee route home
AND the car was Green when it left the house at 6.30am

We went back the same way we'd arrived on, patiently followed by Jean + crew. I think we got stuck behind just about every Sunday driver out there, worst was when a few cars locked up their wheels when a campervan decided the road wasn't wide enough for him and the approaching coach, so he dropped anchor in the middle of the road.
Made it safely home, after seeing Jean stopping in Callander (food/toilet/rest?) - covered about 280 miles all in, and still got over a 1/4 tank left - result!
(It was only when I put the cabby in the garage that I found out I was running on one headlight
)
More please........

I'd just like to say a big thank you to all those who attended( and turned up in an E30,or an E21)
I think it's the 1st Scottish meet where we haven't had any "cough" Mazda "cough" or 5 series turn up
I'd also like to apologise for the poor planning by myself
I much prefer to "play it by ear/make it up as I go along"
It was nice to see some of the "usual" faces and also some who hadn't attended any of the zone meets previously
Was also nice to see not 1,but 2 of those rare sights on the road, an E30 M3 out while it's raining

It's not something you see every day
Hopefully the next meet will be more organised(obviously not by me)

No apology needed Dave, we all enjoyed the day! This was better than being at a static display, we got to do what we love most about E30s - "drive em"!
Good to see so many E30s in the same place at the same time.
Highlights for me were:
Just being there.
Catching up with old zoners, and meeting new zoners.
Hearing all the cars getting called over the tannoy at the Green Welly for parking innapropriately.
The run through Glencoe - great to see all the cars on that stretch!
Watching Ritchie in his car at the ski-slope.
Watching Gary in Ritchies car at the ski-slope.
All the opportunities for photos.
The good comments about my cabby.
The commando memorial at Spean Bridge.
Brilliant time - looking forward to the next one.
