cheeky request lads. i have a new earth cable (from bottom of block to chassis leg) as mine is half corroded thru, due to moving etc, i have no way of getting under my car. wondered if any one with a spanner and trolley jack or two could spare me five minutes before going on the rollers. just seems a shame to put it on the rollers with a crap earth on the block.
oh yeah, i have a slight wobble on rear end (trailing arm bushes will be going on on monday). The car runs straight and true and is all aligned correctly, will this be a prob on the rollers. If so ill come anyway just for the experience
long rambling post there sorry

We broke a rocker on the turbo touring so no real results from that, 240hp on 5 cylinders @ 5K
Fixed @ Fritz but we left after midnight so no opportuinity for a re-run, drove back sweeeet though , remap all the way
Massive thanks to Fritz, particularly Dave for staying on so late so we could get back in one piece, cheers Mate, appreciated
Good results all round though, I dont think anyone was dissapointed.

Evening all. a big thank you to all that came. i had a quality weekend.
Sorry to all that had to wait at the start while i finished putting my engine back together but better to run it than not i thought.
the drag racing on sunday was awesome. Even tho i only got 2 runs i had fun.
i thought i'd better post up the rr results. i can't do any graphs as i dont have a scanner.
After the recent debate about our figures reading high we discovered the industrial fan we use that adds about 10bhp to all the power runs. with it off the m20 325's usually make around factory figures.
the cars that impressed me were my m50 obviously as it was a bit last minute, scotts tech 1, andy's tech2, fowlers 2wd quattro effort and scotts e30 evo cab that again was last minute and was the first time it had run since i built it other than in and out of the workshop!
Even my iS race bus work hack made a good effort with some new oil in it!!
munky's top mounts were so horrendous i donated some to the cause. didn't help you on sunday tho mate did it??
tail out charlie, SORT YOUR TRAILING ARMS OUT!!!!!! Savage
i hope you 2 noticed a difererence in fuel after i reduced your carbon footprint dramatically.
no worrys ant about staying on late. it's exactly unusual mate is it?
i love m20 rocker shafts anyway, thats why i replaced them with cams lol.
i'm glad you and the massive got home safe. bloody cars init
we love it!!!??..
Again a big thanks to all that came. same again in january i reckon. we can ram some 70mph iceberg air through the fan.
i've taken the figures without the fan running as don't want to spark a massive debate again.
i can't see it being to different to driving at that speed on the road but it with out make the figures more realistic.
here you go.
1. munky . 325 touring , m20, 172.1 bhp @ 6k , 162.6 ft/lb @ 5k

What time were you lot at Smeatharpe? I didn't get there till about 2pm and there was all of 3 E30s in the car park but I did see Munky in the line for the drag strip.
Did any of you go round the handling course?
Did you see the guy wheelying down the 1/8 mile and come off when he landed it
I don't think he was too injured though as the ambulance wasn't in too much of a hurry to take him to hospital

Munky is fine and well and struggling to post on e30 zone for some reason.
The bloke on the bike however isnt so well from what I hear. Remember motorsport is dangerous.

Hey all.
Sorry to hear about the chap on the bike Mike, i hope he's ok.
I guess he won't try and wheelie so far on a 60 year old runway next time.
You learn from these things
I've only just got round to uploading these on youtube.
The first race is against Munky!!
Enjoy

rolling road day....
but either/or/any will do?
My engine has developed a death rattle and I want it to go in style before I replace it.

I'd be interested to see if getting rid of that crappy ecu chip has made any difference to my figures.
My sump took a hefty whack on a trip to the clay pits recently and ever since I've had a nasty metallic rattle to add to all the other noises my car makes.
I assume its damaged the oil pump but my oil sensor thingy isnt connected so who knows. The sooner it dies, the sooner it gets that engine I was asking about on td
Its done a trip to penzance and back, and some spirited driving since so I guess its not terminal..... yet.
