It was alright, had about 11 E30's and a few yanks turned up including a HUGE Caddie, massive burgers, lots of parking, would go again.

I have a crap camera and the few pics I did take didnt look good on the camera, will see what they look like on the PC before posting. Steve took a few on his phone which probably takes a better pic than my camera :o:

I thought it was good meet.

I had a 'Number Two' burger - 1/2 pound ish with bacon, and salad.

It was   :D

Loved the Yank tanks firing up and driving off - V8 goodness caressing my ears! 8)

Nice to meet some new faces and seeing some good cars.

Would definately go again but it's probably more of a standing outside in the summer venue, not much room inside.

Martin.

I saw a burger that was bottom of bun, HUGE burger, cheese, ladle of chili con carny and then the top of the bun

I have a pic of your car at Le Mans from the campsite do you mind if I add it to my Mucky E30 thread

that was a good meet! i had a hulahula burger which included about half a pineappple! scrummy!
hopefully, there will be no comeback on the silliness as it must be a common place for the locals to 'play'.

amazingly my diff made it back without exploding! lucky considering i was playing with a posessed maniac in a 106 on the way back! you know the type, 45° body roll and one blue LED washer jet! 8O worse than those novas by a stretch!
i overtook him out of a roundabout on the dual carriageway and i think he took exception to a family estate car raping him and came back for more, overtaking my mid corner on the sliplane off the dual carriageway and onto the B2070 (iirc) brenzett road, towards rye. obviously, i wasn't standing for that so all cares over the diff went out of the window and i passed him again (rather quickly  ) on the B2070. his made him mad and he just started overtaking down the centre to get ahead! he eventually got ahead of me when i decided to brake for a roundabout and he overtook on a blind R/H bend coming into the roundabout, on the wrong side of an island and slid off to the left, cutting me up. a true testement to what a complete tosser with no regard for other people will do to 'win' a 'race'. (not that i would ever consider racing enyone as i am a sensible man in a sensible car and i never did more than 28mph on the way home, officer... winkeye )

after that 20 mins of fun, i'd used 1/4 of a tank full of fuel and as every petrol station was closed, i had to cruise at a steady 60 all the way back to make sure i got there!

all in, a good night and i'm glad the M30 beastie made it. it was good to see a few new faces, even though i didn't get to see all of them!

the most amusing thing of the evening, going over the first railway crossing on the way back at speed and both me and dom smacking our heads on the roof really hard!!!! :D time to turn the shocks a bit softer methinks!!! :D

Loads room inside to seat about 30 max at a push , But would be a excellent place for summer meets as you say .
Like your cage as well mate , Seen you at a few meets and was good tolook at the cage properly 8)

Added a poll to this one guy , Honest feedback as well on the place if you havent already :D
Malc , Not a problem mate , Was a good meet , You guys made it happen by showing up , Nice one :thumb:

Thanks Steve! :D
Your car was looking damn fine too, love the way you've had the wheels done!

I was planning to get there earlier but I was having technical issues.

I adjusted my handbrake today and when I test drove it before leaving I had over-done it (even though the disc turned quite freely) and after 5 miles the brakes were smelling bad and the disc was turning purple! :?

I sorted that and then the AA Routefinder crashed my pc - again!

Then the crappy RAC routefinder got us confused and then we passed the lane without seeing the sign and went miles out of our way!

Oh, and it's a 'Yes' vote from me! :)

Yeah the entrance is a bit of a pain , You can only see the sign from one direction , Unfortunatly most of us come at it the wrong way , I drove straight past it first time i went there on the trial run then saw the sign on the return trip :o:
Im still in shock cos this bloke was out but he didnt have his bear outfit on ....

Good to see you again with a very rude e30

Thats all they need, you dont need to modify its just the route I have taken. Take a look at this thread

Cheers, taken me a few years to hunt down parts like wheels, seats, graphics etc. Never really planned it things just came together.

Shame you can't make Santa Pod, there will be lots of members and tons of cars there.

well i actually honestl thought that those graphics came wit the car, limited edition or something.... looks tight

yeah i love the idea of standard, but already mine isnt..... i think a few subtle mods might do the trick, bit by bit, and if i get bored, ill take it back to standard and take the route that fella in the link has taken.

would love to do santa pod,but its the weekend i work (i do one on one off, and also, just cant afford it this month.... sign me up for next year though eh
