did anyone get any photos of it? i took the camera but there was so much to look at and do that i forgot to use it
was great to meet people face to face at last although it got a bit hectic at times so im sorry if i came across as vague. loads of people i wanted to meet but didnt and i still havnt been in the museum yet. could do with a clone so one of us could look round whilst the other stays with the car to chat. lol

It was an excellent show. Not that many nice E30's (I reckon about 10-20) but for those with broader horizons it was excellent. I went to look at the Honda bikes, some stunning stuff there including a pair of 1973 750 Fours (my first and only bike at 16!) and the 1979 CBX with the transverse 24v straight six 1000.
Not one CX500, 50 'Fizzy' or Superdream though.

Surely the Fizzy was a Yamaha FS1E. The Honda 50 was the the SS50 wasn't it?Andyboy wrote:

Could be. I remember all the other kids having these 50 mph two wheeled fizzy farts and my 750/4. Completely without tax, MOT, insurance, licence.............
Rusty, dripping oil but my word, did it go. 50-100 in no time.

excellent(if long) day. well worth the trek. beautiful cars. beautiful weather and beautiful half naked girls strutting about(disgraceful! my little staffys such an attention seeker, the girls had to come over and stroke her, so good work scrumps!!). was passed by two e46 m3 convs, followed by a black ferrari 360 (?), being chased by two black e46 m3 csl s. dont these people value their licences? i thought my satnav had sent me to the nurburgring! how fast?
