Barry how does the tyre pressure sensor thing work on the e46?
had a slow puncher & it did not seem to pick it up!

Matt, you set the tyre pressure to what they should be then with the ignition off, hold down the tyre pressure system button, turn the ignition on and the warning light will go from yellow to red to yellow. Drive the car to calibrate the system.

Its all in the hand book.

The system works on wheel speed, if the pressure drops considerably then the wheel turns slower than the others so the ABS/DSC picks this up and sends a signal to the instrument cluster which then puts the warning light on.

It probably wasn't set correctly hence why the light didnt come on.

Thursdays in Dorking good for me I'll let my brother know, also there's a big carpark across the road as well for the station thats always empty in the evening.
