Better get my bank manager to get me a load out at this rate,
from my house up the A69 thru hexam, nenthead, on to alston to see my mates and back again
thats an easy £35 in petrol
so i reckon this "meet" will be an easy £50/£60 drive

I my have my engine back by then but no chance for me on this one. Nixt time I will be in. Not sure I like the sound of winter carparks.

I flinched when I read that as well Dez. Run-out for me every time. Mind, as I posted on the Lakes Tour thread, any meet/run I actually commit to attending depends on how my touring deals with its "factory-fitted fear of meets".

BTW Dez (OT), I'll have to come and see you in the not too distant future, I've got a knackered tyre so I'm going to need a new pair.

The Angel carpark can fill up with sightseers - I'd be tempted to be there earlier and look to leave at 10.

Got to Hartside & it looks like a Power Ranger meeting - there's loads of them.

Seen a silver E30 on a field on the Nenthead - Alston road - might go back that way for a look

I did indeed, fixed last Saturday after the parts arrived at the dealer. £20 for a new selector rod, quite happy with that!!
