Any time now I'll be changing the oil, so I'll bung some of that leak stopper stuff in with the fresh oil, but I don't hold out much hope of it doing "exactly what it says on the tin".
I'll 'phone Motorscope myself and ask what their policy is on running leaky engines.

I wouldn't exactly say it's p155ing out, but I will be 'phoning them in the near future - might even pop in so they can see for themselves.

What about another Sunday PM meet, maybe earlier to avoid the dreaded darkness.

Need a few foties anyhow for a little project we are working on.

What about the 29th at Teesside Park at say 3pm?

Rear main seal Steve. :(
I can't be ar53d to pull the engine out just so I can get the thing dyno'd. The clutch isn't slipping yet, and the seal's been leaking from day one. I'll get 'round to sorting it sometime but I'll wait until it's more of a necessity

it doesnt look like im going to make this now. i attempted to get my car through a puddle today that was deeper than i thought and got water in the engine and about 3 inches deep insde the car. i hope i can get things sorted before the event so i can go. i'll pass the organisation of this event over to RM2186. i will be there hopefully although i might be down in my new car if i get it by then. a seat ibiza cupra r 1.8 20v turbo. be good to see what she makes. im buying a business and dont have the time anymore to keep having to fx things on my estate. i'll always have my cabby though.

Can you bring the cabby along?

I emailed the Total BMW contact last week and they'd be very interested in a mid winter meet write up as there are not many going on - so I'll be there with a camera and notepad! :)

They'd also like to publish top runners' power figures (providing everyone is happy with the above?) so any Northerners who keep a lot of horses gets your names down on the list! :drive:
