Just realised the Pedal for Scotland is on Sunday the 13th So it looks like I won't make it as I haven't yet mastered being in two places at once. On the other hand if I can cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh in a quick time I'll be able to drive up in the afternoon! Yeah - unlikely I know as I haven't done any training at all! Guess it'll take me all day!

I did that last year.

Took me and my wife 7 hours.

Wife and I did it last year as well it was a lovely day last year and I'm thinking it will be a bit on the wet side this year - not really looking forward to it this year.

We did it in a little under 6 hours but we didn't stop for too long at each of the stops as we were one of the last of the start line and all of the free food and drink was gone when we were going through the stops!!

Sorry I'll miss the meet as it looks like there will be a good turn out.

Details for the car park at the Falkirk Wheel are below. Follow the link "USEFUL VISITOR INFORMATION(PDF)" and on the 2nd page there's a map. The blown up section of the map shows the two car parks on the A9 side of the river. We'll meet in the car park nearest the river.

There's about 15 cars planning to turn up so it looks like a goody. Keep your fingers crossed for the weather and I look forward to seeing you all there.
