Meeting at Portsdown Hill around 1100 leave there around 1145 and then once again a drive through the sweeping south downs to the pub in the middle of nowhere !

The pub is in the middle of nowhere - if you find it by satnav when you park there is just the finish lane and a totally white screen - Agree with Iain though - the bestest summer pub going

Dave the landlord realised that this is normally one of his busiest weekends of the year. If we took up half his carpark with non beer drinking £5 a head barbeque it would lose him potential trade from other customers.

Feel that this is a good venue and after some careful thought it was considered best to run it the same as last year. Normal Portsdown meet, drive down, lunch at leisure and then perhaps another drive ?

Still got time to organise another barbeque but different location, any thoughts peeps ? Somewhere down in Deviant land ?

Sorry to dissappoint but thought this was the best remedy.
