Is it worth me putting my Khumo's on the back as I don't rate them as a normal track day tyre and may be a way of using them up or would you recommend I keep the proxies all round?

The surface is reckoned to be pretty easy on tyres bit if it's a hot day then I guess some wear is inevitable so I can't see any harm in fitting them to kill them off rather than doing in your proxies.

Cheers steve, mind you I'm not sure how much the grass will wear my tyres!

Damn, Admiral said no
I'm going to try to get my wife to cover it on her's. Only problem is, she's with Diamond - part of the same group as Admiral...
Wish me luck

Apparently they don't like providing temporary cover on the same car more than once. Something about problems they've had in the past where the person has lent the car out to mates, who've then trashed it. Sounds like a load of balls to me, but I've still got the Diamond route to go down, fingers crossed.

Yossarian,
Have you tried any of these? They specialise in short term cover.

Thanks dude, I'll try them next time, cos my wifey cracked it
So, I'm all booked up - Grandad (the E30) and I will be there.
Looking forward to it, gonna be a long day though (we've got a 3 hour drive up there). We also travel back from our holiday in Newquay Friday afternoon, so come Sunday, I'm gonna be knackered.
Can my wife and 10 month old boy come too? They say one spectator is allowed, but surely one and a bit will be OK...
See you there!

Sorry to see that you can't make it Steve, I'm looking forward to seeing the beemer back on track
Info packs have now been sent out to all drivers by email, if you have not received yours please let me know ASAP.
Don't forget that we need a list of driver and passenger names by tomorrow night (Tuesday) to send to MSV so that you can get your free entries into the circuit! If you aren't on the list it's £12 to get in
There are now just a couple of places left on this if anyone wants to join us

You'll obviously have to come to the next one and try again
Perhaps a few flames down the side might get the photographers attention

I think it was because the photographer was mainly taking photos of the track and not the cars driving on the grass! lol
