Sorry but i will not be coming. My car is still being painted, well the car is painted but not the boot, bonnet, roof or body kit. The car itself is exellent. Just looking forward to picking it all up. Hope you all enjoy youselves.

OK guys, those heading up from the SouthWest, we'll be passing through Poulner around 1050ish, intention to get to Rownhams for 11ish, Winchester for 1115ish, should make the meet for about 1145 latest, all being well.

(And yes, you at Darby's Corner Paul... :D)

Anyone welcome to join the convoy, but we won't be waiting long anywhere.
See you all tomorrow.
Drive carefully, weather likely to be nasty... :(

I've been looking at the forecast too, looks worse down VW way than here. If my place was ready sooner I would have posted it as an alternative with enough time to be feasible.

Well, as I said...you guys are all more than welcome in the future should you need a central venue. At least there's no charge for the parking and all the cars will be in one spot.

I'm hoping to get some events together soon, the response has been pretty good so far considering that most car enthusiasts are still in hibernation.

I hope it clears up as I am going to sorn my car till I fit the 2.1 motor, so it would be the last chance I had to drive it for a while :(

Lance I reckon this is worthy of our support - why dont you post your meets details ( presume they wont be e30 only so you will have to post in a general forum ie pub talk) - cant speak for the mods but doubt if theyd mind if e30's were welcome

BTW Gord wont be making this one mate - see you at the next local meet

ivqii...

though I will be hosting other events, the venue will be for Zoners if they need a place. But zoners will also be welcome to other events...it's sometimes nice to see other stuff....like the Iso Griffo in the workshop at the moment, and the Stratos my mate will be bringing down.

cheers.

No worries Richard, take care mate, see you soon.

Lance, no worries with the meets mate, just put them in the events section. There shouldn't be a problem. If you need a hand organising, let me know.

Cheers all, see you tomorrow, those of you who make it despite the wind and rain... Bloody weather :banghead:

A good day out, and amazingly lovely (and unexpected) weather.

Well done to the few that made it, 15 out of a possible 39, and a few of them weren't even on the list...
Only took a few pics, one of each car, but will get them uploaded asap.

Cheers

Mine are up already

Oh and the plane that crashed local to me (Kent) is all over Sky news. The ex that lives on the same housing estate is fine as she was working,

so a shag may still be on the cards

Oh and I picked up a Ferrari F430 on the way home. Shell are doing a promotion, if you spend £30+ on V-Power you get a free Ferrari, which was nice.

I have to say that after all the effort that went into this and the fact that there were 39 names on the list it was a p1ss poor turn out. SHAME ON YOU non attendees!

However, I had an excellent time, thanks to Si for his hospitality and thanks to to all who turned up making all the hassle in arranging it, well worth while. Nice to meet some new faces as well.

My pics will be up ASAP.
