Better make it 60 burger rolls and 60 finger rolls, I'll sort those.
Can you make it 60 each of the burgers and sausages please Dave? Cheers.
(Sure Adi will help with the clearing up...
...For the dog of course... NOT...

I got my car back this evening ( with a £1600 repair bill attached ) I been told it need to have a few hundred miles done to help flush the cooling system out which make this journey a must for the importance of the care of my car

oh cheers gor, you're getting very close to owing me a monster burger by way of apology
. i'll have you know women have been known to crawl naked over broken glass just to get a date with me!
. under 16s? yes, true, and most of them are pushing babies! nothing to do with me i hasten to add
. seriously, if you need any help with anything at all, i'm literally just down the road, as you know, so just phone me. any parts requirements, likewise. 07901 888019
I guess I'll go scout the fort en route, meet up at the viewpoint but leave 10mins before you lot do to shoot the arriving convoy- that sound a plan?
Sounds a plan Dave, we both get good spots!!
They'll be some of the Dorset lot driving past the bottom of the M3....
or hook up with the scumhampton lot?

For the record, now that I have communicated with Shelia, Monsport 2.7 has gone to the breaker in the sky.
The new owner (a real good guy) lost the car and it suffered serious front end damage and has been written off.
Best to let you peeps know, so you dont expect to see the car on the day.

If you want a Touring centre stage, Dave, my turd will be there early too
I'm gonna be setting up, sorting banners etc - if you bring em - so we can have a decent car in the middle... unless Iain's going to tow his up there...
If you want to give me the champagne early to save any embarrassing presentations later, that's fine with me mate...
Seriously though, we are going to ask Sheila to pick the winning car for this.

Hi mate if you pm gortour he will give you the post code of the pub over the road from the burger van.Felix79 wrote:I am trying to get a route map from the AA web site for this and it can't find it. Can anyone help me with a post code ect?

I would suggest a meet at the burger van about 10am, admittance at the Fort from about 10:15.
Felix, postcode for the Churchillian pub is PO6 3LS - this is almost directly opposite the layby with the burger van in.
(Fort Purbrook is on the left hand side, about 3/4 mile from the burgervan in the direction of Chichester. Miss the dirt sliproad going up to the left, with a big 'Fort Purbrook' sign. Just past this is a road to the left, the entrance to the Fort is into this left and immediately left again, a tight 180` turn.)
* edit, Cheers Malc, you beat me to it.

I got the route sorted , it's just a straight line down the M3 into Pompy so even I can't get lost ( might nic the old mans tom tom ) . Looks like about a 2 hour drive for me so not too bad
