Well my cars going to be filthy as I was stupid enough to take the thing to London for a few days and then was stuck in traffic for hours on the M25. Old mans away till Monday and the last time I tried to clean my car I ended up in A&E on a morphine drip where one of my discs split and pinned a nerve ending.
How ever , the exhuast went just as I got in London. Took it to a garage and the bolts had undone. They put it all back together , put new clamps on the back for me too and said I didn't need to pay as they didn't mind helping me out!
Got a good look under my car too and not a singel bit of rust on the shell to be seen

There may be some stragglers who aren't sure where the Fort is ( for those of you that don't know it's not right on the main road)
I plan to get to the burger van on Portsdown Hill at about 10.30 and head for the Fort at about 11 if thats any help to anyone

Just got off the phone with gooner and we're organised to meet up and then drive down in convoy.
If anyone else wants to come from the midlands , we are meeting up on the Oxford/wolvercote services just off the A34 before the road works. Meet up around 8.30am and head off around 8.45am. I will be taking us around the Oxford ring road so we can bypass the massive road works on the A34 between the Oxford junctions.
Can people let me know over the next few hours if they want to come otherwise Gooner and I will shoot off as soon as we meet up.

just been up to the fort for a scout at where it is, and a burger with the family
got home and i have an oil leak!not sure how bad it is but doesn't look two good.
i have dregs of oil in containers to throw in and a drip tray so i hope
it'll be ok.just washed it etc,and i'll check out the leak in a minute.
