I think most of the people who expressed an interest in a midlands meet were happy with the first meet at the venue discussed over the last few weeks. Its informal, easy to get too, and importantly free!!!!, which of course is not a problem if people decide not to turn up for whatever reason.
A first meet at a show has problem written all over it, somebody will have to organise it pretty sharpish, I’m also confident that the venue will want some sort of payment up front, so either everybody pays up quick or somebody risks it and pays themselves and gets the money back of all who promised to come”¦.., there may be a limit of numbers?????.
Personally if this was to happen it should be done properly, with maybe some input from the zone, marque etc.
Tried ringing Weston Park today, office open on Monday, entrance to park and gardens is £5.00, however special events may be more”¦”¦
I’d rather change the start date of the first midlands meet than have it here, buts that’s my opinion. Lurch is more than welcome to organise the festival meet if he wants too

No probs lads, its not going anywhere, only now theres another worry, got to pick up the hardtop on monday and it has to go on the car, no where to store it, noe in need to find out how to secure it with some sort of home made device so it stays on the car.

You must live in a really really posh area then
I don't think anyone has come up with a solution to stop the hardtop's being nicked. Good alarm will help alot. Maybe make something up like a plate or something?

I'm sure you'll come up with something but if someone wants to nick it, then they will try any method
At least this way it might give you the oppurtunity of catching them and then
them

Nope, still getting things together, going over to surrey on sat or sun to pick up some rear pop out windows with fittings, then will be looking to get them to open electrically as the e46's do.Someone on the e21 zones doing that mod atm.
