Think most folks have Grant.
Looks to be even on Glenshee and Glencoe.
Could always make a proper day of it and do both?

I work for Siemens on a 50 Megawatt site in the North doing the service and maintenance. It's a magic job and I feel very privilaged to have it as my career. Apart from when it forces me to miss meets that is.m-dtech wrote:who do you work for ??georgen wrote:Oh super,
Work committments mean that I cannot attend this event. I'm gonna be changing a 22 ton gearbox in a wind turbine ( yet again ) and it's all hands on deck. Sorry guys. I will, hopefully, get to a meet eventually
I work for Scottish Power Energy Networks, i presume thats one of the hydro's windfarms ?
X3MCP - Is that the two 5 megawatt turbines beside the Betrice field ? Our company has nowt to do with them, different supplier. Good crack getting dropped of to work on an offshore turbine via chopper everyday I would imagine.

I don't actually work on the Turbines I'm on the Beatrice Alpha Platform, our guys operate the Turbine with Repower (Germany) but that would be ace getting dropped off by the Choppergeorgen wrote:I work for Siemens on a 50 Megawatt site in the North doing the service and maintenance. So where are we going. and what time of day?
If folk are going for both I'll make one or other, but will decide which depending on the time/arrangements...

Crianlarich, "the gateway to the Highlands" still gets my vote, but I still say it's up to the "not bothered" voters to make a decision ...............
