Simple idea was to meet up and convoy.

Was only stirring really, a cruise could be good if people want. Depends really who's coming in from the South, and who's coming in on the A303 really.

The direct routes...? 21 miles as opposed to 36, the extra distance is another half hour...

Its been a normal routine and aids entry onto the show site Dave, we all meet at Sparkford and go in convoy to the show. Jeremy has asked that we meet at Sparkford and enjoy the cruise in all together.

Not a problem if you dont want to Dave, its Jeremy's request and as its his influence that gets us in, feel we should respect the request.

Dave is suggesting meeting at Wilton, and cruising down the A30, Iain has suggested meeting at Blandford and cruising to Sparkford and then down to Sherborne.

Wayne, sorry to pick on you mate, but as your nan lives there, I'm hoping you'll know the area well. Anywhere somewhere near the gate we can meet up to cruise in together from?

Many choices guys and girls... Can people indicate what they're going to do? Thanks.

1. Meet at Blandford, and cruise to Sparkford and into the show from there.
2. Meet at Blandford, and cruise straight to Sherborne.
3. Meet at Wilton and cruise to Sparkford and into the show from there.
4. Meet at Wilton and cruise down the A30 to Sherborne
5. Meet at Sparkford.
6. Meet at Sherborne.

The nearest place to meet is at sherborne train station. Sherborne manner is about half a mile away.

As I recall from last year, it's quite an early start so would prefer to not have to leave earlier to get to Sparkford!

Shame that the effort cannot be made to go to Sparkford, its only 9 miles north of Sherborne Castle and the idea was to get all the beemas in convoy and indemnity forms need to be signed prior to show. Last few years this has been the norm and seems a shame to break with tradition !

If anyone can make it there then its 0830 at Sparkford Services

for me to go to sparkford with the kids i would have to leave at 6.am as the sat nav tells me its 1.30 mins drive . we need to be on our pitch at 9.30 with all cars in place ect . i am sorry that this seems a tradition but its like asking people to go to say christchurch then convoy to broadlands when most drive by the venue .
all those coming from poole bournmouth driving by the venue then coming back down the road theve just drove up on why dont we all meet at the train station in sherbourne then drive to the venue together this sounds like a more helpfull event . i for 1 will not be driving to sparkford with the kids at 6.30 am sorry

Sparkford is an extra half hours drive for me too, which I will do if the multitude do too, but happy to meet at Sherborne if that's what we all decide is preferable.

Fair enough, no problem. I will meet up with Jeremy as originally planned, there is not enough room to meet at the Station according to Jeremy. If you guys park up in the Castle drive somewhere we will hook up with you around 0930. Bomber has the pitch pre-planned and can get us all parked up as required.

Indemnity form to be signed prior to going in afaik.
