OK, I've not been around much recently, the mountain of paperwork on my desk can wait, I fancy a trip out
Gordon, where are you planning on going to after the initial meet up at Burley services? as i doubt i will get there in time (got to look at a job on the way through Ringwood...) Jean and I will be in the mighty Citroen
so as Gareth isn't going we will be able to lower the tone with our French scrap

Just got home, at 8.35 after a f***ing boring 4-5 hours sat in A & E.
Tan's shoulder and back are bruised but will be fine, possible mild fracture in her jaw which is why it hurt her so much to eat her lunch.
They didn't xray, as they wouldn't have been able to do anything to treat it anyway, so they didn't bother.
They've given her some pain killers, and told her to have a few days off work, and she should be fine.
Only got a few pics on my phone, will get them posted asap. Excellent meet, thanks to everyone that made it. It's the turnout that makes a good meet, not the location.
Cheers all, and thanks Lin for the pain killers you gave Tan earlier.

Yeah nice to put faces to name, hope Tan recovers soon fella
A good turnout of cars, 12 was it? A cruise through the New Forest to the Filly Inn, good food (if slow service) and a good chat and a nice meet.
Ziggy had his cab with the M30 fitted, Jon_BMW had his iS, DelphinCabby made an introduction, Mark led the cruise with his Zantia (
) and Rob (HKF) has butchered the middle of his front bumper and is planning a pair of huge Cibies to fill the hole,

Knew it started with a Z... Er, isn't the other one Xantia, with an X, not a Z? Oh well, who cares.
Still a piece of "french crap" as you called it yourself...

I can assure you it's nothing to do with me.
She went into Debenhams on the way to the meet, as she came out, she fell over. She put her hands out to stop herself, landed heavily on one arm and strained her shoulder, and hurt her back and her jaw too. I have NO idea how she hurt her jaw, but it's not shutting her up much...
She's better today, still in a lot of pain, but not taking the pain killers. Typical nurse, she makes a bl**dy lousy patient.
Thanks to those enquiring about her welfare.
