Doesnt look like it.. I have a lack of time for something ive never done before.. I'd have 2hrs to get it assembled and measure all clearances and then find out what shims are in there to begin with! :(

I should be bringing my 335 cab down after having a bit of a nightmare weekend with my gearlinkage snapping and spending all of sunday repairing and reinforcing it. I should getting it back from the bodyshop today after hitting a squrral on the motorway going to gaydon and doing a number on the bumper.
Just hope the old girls good for sunday as itr seems every time i take it out at the moment i get beef with it.

Should be a good weekend!

Ok ok you convinced me. I'm gonna turn up on the day and see if I can get a pass.... saw a gearbox on the Bay went for £27 so it's worth that for the smile factor!! Not sure how I do burnouts in an auto though, just keep the brake planted and let rip I guess.
See you guys there!

Don't bother with burn out as it's not going to gain you much, may be 0.1 secs :)

Is it worth me putting my trackday tyres (r888's) on for the strip, or is there so much grip that road tyres will be fine?

I'll stick them on then, would bring my spare wheels and change them there, but i'm moving into my new house at uni on saturday and have to transport loads of stuff up there in the car, which is difficult with a rollage in the way!

Need to get the metal o/s engine mount sorted on my car before all that :-x
