I tried another code which was supposed to give 20% off but it failed miserably and wouldn't workJon_Bmw wrote:Off topic, but are we going on the 6am 10th June and 1800 14th june crossing? If so, and you use this code:
EBS
The total is a mere £37 including £9 of 'fuel surcharge.'
I'm thinking of booking it already...just leave the registration blank atm just in case I have something else to travel in.

Are you thinking of taking the executive luxobarge Jon?Jon_Bmw wrote:I've just done a euro tunnel quote, it worked out at £87 which I thought was quite reasonable... Doh, too many choices this year. Breakdown cover is only £29.99 with them as well(15year limit).
LPG cars are not allowed in the tunnel

Not really saving much,if at all, other than on the breakdown cover.

No there is no saving at all Dave, slightly more expense, but only half an hour to get across rather than 2 hours! Gareth, mine hasn't got LPG.
yet.
Probably stick to norfolkline then chaps? Stick to what we know huh?

Yeah Norfolkline sounds better to me. I was only looking for alternatives that would shave a few hours driving off tbh.
You should come Gareth!
How was the rally Jon? Expect I missed loads of carnage

In that case, I am going to book the Ferry this afternoon I think. Thursday at 0600 and Monday at 1800.
Rally was good, got to three stages, although I missed Uddens this year. An absolutely mental 306 with a v6 ford cosworth was the best noise of the day, by a frigging mile. It sounded about 10k rpm, but was probably 8.5/9k.
No crashes, but some nice cars. There was a small historic section with lots of spastic minis, and in the normal section there was 10 mk2 escorts with a lairy rear end. It was actually a very good one, it had chucked it down the night before, but it didn't rain once when spectating. Perfect.

oh, my mate was marshalling at that rally...
look on yourube for Andy Burton, he's the chap with the rather potent 306. awesome machine!
ziggy, i'd love to come but my miserable funds can't stretch to this as well as the zone roam and a 2.5k trek to the 'ring - via france, switzerland, stelvio, a week in italy etc etc in august

God I still haven't booked my camping pass, such a penis. Better do that in a minute. Rob, you'll be put on the lower level after you have proved you cannot get up top.
Naa, usually they are pretty good.
Dave, yeah I think it is still alive back at my 'rents place. I'll put it up beforehand to double check you and Yiangou put it away properly.
£12.99 and it has lasted 4 trips, I love being tight!

I'll bring my one along anyway.
Just thought it may be better with 2 this time,as 1 was a tad on the small side.
