Mornin' Campers. Hi-de-hi...
Barbecue and beer last night, sausages eggs, beans and gammon for breakfast, plus copious cups of tea. Mouth like Gandhi's flip flop this morning.
Roll up, roll up. All welcome. Tell em on the gate you're with the Zone.

Good morning to you Gordon and Tanya - great day yesterday although the weather could have been a tad better. Lovely to have met old friends as well as meeting some new people, especially the man with the stunning, stunning convertible from Bath. He knows who he is!
Pleased you had a good evening and raring to go today. For those thinking about taking part on the stand, do go, as there is lots to see and do. The overcast weather will clear at 10am.
Have a good day
Jackie
ps since when have you tried flip-flops? Ho di ho.

So, my weekend summed up... Monday. Arrived at the Pageant at 830, to meet Zoners arriving with their passes. 1000, left the wife by the gate and took my car over to the stand, sent Dave to relive the wife on the gate, put up the gazebo, get the kettle on. Wander round the show stands and then the cars, take down the gazebo, go to camping area and put up the tent. Put up Adi's tent, wait for Rob, Adi and Paul to arrive, help put up windbreak. Beer, barbecue, music and humourous ringtones, check the Zone, followed by (some) sleep.
Monday, up by 7.30, Check the Zone, kettle on, beans eggs and toast on the cooker - damned slow compared to Rob's barbecue - plus gammon, sausages on the bbq, and more tea. Over to the stand, put up gazebo, get kettle on. 3 trips to the gate with passes for the Zoners, wander around show again. Sun came out by mid morning. Take down gazebo again, pack up car, head home about 4pm.
Many many thanks to everyone who turned up, the stand would have been awful with less cars than we had. Those who didn't bother, what can I say?
Thanks for letting me know you weren't coming...
You missed a good weekend, and one of the best shows of the year...
Those that went had a great time, despite the dull weather...

Good day had by me on the Sunday, shame the weather was a bit dismal, but it least it cleaned my car.
Always rely on about 40% of the original list not turning up. The way of the world.
Doras was there on Sunday, but car less unfortunately as it is not quite finished yet. At least he got there!

Will amend the post Jon, cheers. Don't think I spoke to Doras. Hope the car is still going well. Looking forward to seeing it.
Glad you enjoyed your Sunday Jon.
Dave, send me the details mate. Look forward to it.

Sent a write up to Total yesterday, may get it written up.
Will let you all know. I had a reply from Sarah saying she'd sent it on for approval, so may be in October's issue.
