I wanted to share with you the trip to ALPINA 50 years anniversary,, that me and my wife took part in
in late june 2015.
I am not going to tell you the complete ALPINA history,, so the weekend is what this is about .
We left Iceland in June 10, we were on a 50 day vacation in Europe,,drove from Reykjavik to Seyðisfjörður, 700 km to the ferry and then 3 days and 3 nights over the Atlantic,, via Farao island to Denmark,, from Hirthals in Denmark then there was 1500+ km via NÃarburgring til Landsberg am Lech ,, in Germany ,,were all the members of the German ALPINA community would meet together.

we had the opportunity,, via the community to take part in the ALPINA 50 years anniversary 26-28 of june. We really wanted to take part in this ..event,,so after many emails to Alpina and the community we were accepted as part of the guest-list that would arrive at Buchloe.
Of course we were the first to arrive on the hotel ,, 27/06 My wife had just bought her self a Mercedes SLK 230 Kompressor ,, just 30 km from the hotel , so it was a one hit ,, the meeting and the location of the car so close together,,
later on 27/06 more and more cars arrived, but on friday the 28/06 , that was the day,all members should arrive, so around 80 ALPINA cars had arrived and 135 guests. I can tell you that, to be a part of such community ,, that concentrate only about one religion,, ALPINA,, is amazing!
Friday evening it was a buffet and the main official community meeting when CEO , and the board etc etc ,, spoke and the year was explaned, + the next year and so on,, of course ,, small drinking and more tallks , but on Sathurday,, 27/06 that was the real real ALPINA day,, then the community would take part in the ALPINA D´concours drive and a 4 man judge would pick out the winner car and the ALPINA factory tour and the party later on in the evening,,

B7s coupe and a B10 3.5 ,, notice that the E24 is a facelift car,, the owner of the B10 3.5 is a friend of mine from Norway Öistein Samuelsen,, Öistein is also the owner of B10 BT #003 the red one in front of the Concorde ,, the official ALPINA photo of B10 BT,,,,,,,, IMO the most famous ALPINA car EVER.

B12 5.7 coupe#019.......... FERRARI YELLOW the only B12 coupe in that color ,, and the First ALPINA car ever in that color,, only 2 ALPINA cars have been delivered in FE 102 ,, (( the other is a E36 3.0 coupe #007 )) the car is totally GORGEOUS in person the owner is Fernando Wettlaufer
this car is my Favorite ALPINA car of them all,,, and this is the main reason i bought mine ,, because it was FE 102
B7s E28 Rainer Witt,,, is the owner ,, the biggest ALPINA collector AFAIK,, 33 car and believe me or not,,, he owns 11 nr #001,, that is really impressive

Ok,, then we have a personal input,,, twin yellows,,, i have been waiting for this moment since i bought my car in 2007 .. for me these 2 are on of the greatest ALPINA cars ever made,,, the B10 BT will always be the nr 1 for me,, it was the car that really made ALPINA famous,, worldwide,
