The energetic Kelly from BMWCC North East has arranged a visit to the Jaguar factory at Castle Bromwich,Birmingham. This is the factory that built Spitfire aircraft in the early '40's,there is a sculpture of two flying Spitfires on a nearby roundabout that is worth a visit on it's own!
We assemble at the factory visitor centre(this looks a little like a Jaguar showroom)at 10am on Wednesday 13 June 12 for a two hour factory tour,we then intend to seek out a pub lunch and run over to Brown's Lane,Coventry to visit the J-D Heritage Trust Centre. This display's cars from Jaguar/Daimler's past,in other visit's to Brown's Lane I have seen displays of Jaguar F1 cars and a selection of ex Royal family Daimlers.
All zoner's are most welcome to join us for this visit, places are limited, but at the moment we still have a few gaps to fill.
Factory tour/J-D HC is free, but you buy your own grub at the pub!
