Z1s are plastic body parts are they not? Hence no rust?

Z1s go for good money so i hear these days.

Most Z1s probably got good M20B25 engines in them though i dont know for sure as i think most Z1s done low mileages?
Do they use the low compression engines and Bosch Motronic 1.3?

They may be plastic outer panels but they are still very much a steel monocoque

They are currently marketed in the early £20k's but whether they actually sell or not at that?

I've been looking today and it surprising how many have significant mileage on them. Found a red on still over in Spain with 90k miles (not KM's) on them. They have Km odeometers so you need to convert. This one of Petes has 80k km's up which equates to 50k miles.

They run low comp Motronic 1.3 as per facelift cars

I actually have a real soft spot for them and one day, I can see me having one of these. it's all about the rarity and the little touches from the prototypes that made it into production. The cabin is a very nice place to be!

Z1s look pretty funky.

You can the where they borrowed components from the E30 apart from the engine/the interior.

The Z1 register on the BMWCC has a new bloke Jamal who is pretty passionate about Z1s even wrote a few articles in there.

Hexagon of Highgate had a Z1 for sale last year dont know if it sold or not.

Yeah i was a little surprised Pete calling a Z1 "scrap" lol.
