Following last year's success when over 30 cars turned up, VSport will again be hosting this year's rolling road day on Sunday 18/05/08.
Prices will start at around the £30 mark, depending on the number of cars attending and the number of runs you want. I'll try to get a more definite figure later next week.
While non-BMWs are welcome, the equipment will be set up for RWD cars on the day, so please no FWD cars.
Can you let me know as soon as possible if you are coming?
Thanks,
Mick

I've managed to convince Wor Lass that I need to spend all next Saturday "servicing" the car (helped when the orange light came on!).StuBeeDoo wrote:I've got an oil leak that I won't be able to get fixed in time.
Hopefully I'll have the cam seal done in time for the RR day.
It will be interesting to see what it's making - no-one seems to have any definite figures for the 325i TB mod. ........ Plus I'll have a bench mark to set my project engine against (if I ever get it built and fitted).

Not again Stuart!
Sorry been working away this week and haven't been able to keep this at the top of the pile.
Vsport confirm that the prices are £30 or £40. Last year everyone went for the cheaper option. For this you will get one run and printout showing power flywheel and wheels etc. For £40 you get a couple of runs, and a more detailed printout, but this option is really only recomended for turbo'sd or highly modified cars.

Oh well, at least the possibility of it made me get on and do my leaking camshaft seal.baur320 wrote:Cancelled through lack of interest
It seems that wasn't the only source of leaking oil though.
If this gets re-scheduled Mick, I'd be interested - other commitments allowing. I'm still looking for an opportunity to find out what my engine's making so that I have a figure to compare the project engine against.
