Hello, this is Justin here. A first time newbie into the classic car scene with the e30 320i coupe. I hope I can learn from experts here on maintaining and taking care of this beautiful beast.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll be posting pics up real soon. Mine is pretty stock and basic, as in still running on the original steel rims.

I think that's the third one on steels in recent weeks. Looks like steels are the new basket weaves.

Lol tell me about it, mate was dead set on bringing boards but on our day down couldn't be bothered to go all the way to cornwall properly (I'm the only one that drives)Brianmoooore wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:15 amAll that way, and you went to the wrong coast, judging by that poor quality beach in the background. Best sands and surf are on the north coast.

Met another E30 touring on the lanes to the campsite, stopped had a chat and took pictures, even got a polaroid that my friend's going to enlarge for me. His was also on bottle tops with a B25 swapped in.martauto wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:50 amBrianmoooore wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:13 amI think that's the third one on steels in recent weeks. When I first got the car earlier this year I was thinking 100% needed to change the wheels but they're growing on me more and more!!

Cornwall ?????? Strange people down there, they don't even know how to top a scone properly.Lemon98 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 9:30 pmLol tell me about it, mate was dead set on bringing boards but on our day down couldn't be bothered to go all the way to cornwall properly (I'm the only one that drives)Brianmoooore wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:15 amAll that way, and you went to the wrong coast, judging by that poor quality beach in the background. You never heard of Woolacombe and Croyde? Two and a half mile strip of golden sand (not stones), almost deserted, except for right at one end, and all the surf you could want.

Yeah I've heard of Croyde before but not Woolacombe, will give it a look at before my next trip! Was just happy the car made it there and back in one piece lol. I'd only replaced the power steering and alternator belts a few days before along with the rubber fuel lines in the engine bay.
