I bought an E30 316 with an M10B18 a few months ago and was thinking of changing the carb to a weber,am looking to buy a 32/36 dgev with an electric choke,I know the direct replacement is the the 32/34 dmtl for my cross studded manifold, and I was thinking if you can help guys,if I machine a flange from Aluminium from a cross stud (original E30 intake manifold ) to a normal 4 stud for this carburetor, would this work and possible to do,and at same eliminate the rubber flange? Or it won’t work? I really like the design of the 32/36 and I know it’s also a more superior carb and having an electric choke is better than doing a cable for the choke, any help greatly appreciated!!!
