I had sort of give up on the zone, was on here over 15 years ago. Don’t know why I looked it up tonight but pleasently surprised. Still got my e30m3 over 20years now. It’s been fitted with the s50 b32 for over 16 years, been ultra reliable but atm am in the process of changing the si board batteries.
I’ve come on here as it feels like being a new member.

Welcome home, I joined when the zone was less than a year old and there are still a lot of old faces so to speak knocking about

I originally found the old zone when I was searching for info on a 24v conversion, in 2004 :D

Well my 323i was parked up and mothballed a good few years before the Zone came about. It had been on the road for 15 years at that point. I briefly had a 325i before that was replaced by an E36 m3. Never sold the 323i and still have it.

I found the Zone a couple of years ago when I was looking for a bit of information and motivation to get it back on the road. Still a way off putting them back on the road but I am a lot clearer in my head about what I am doing thanks to the Zone. :thumb:

Things sure have moved on,. Was at the dealers in Cockermouth a few weeks ago in the m3 and one of the young salesmen came out and asked if the car was a real m3. Said he’d heard about them but never seen one. Asked why it was lhd, So a quick 10 minute history lesson followed. Even at 30 years old they still attract attention and comments. Was going to put a pic up but for whatever reason they come out up side down
