regards to my e30s white 1 will have wing and bumper bolted on and do enough to have it safe and legal,it will then drive through to spain where i will use it as my daily while im sourcing donner car. think im going to be looking at a 2004 330ci sport for the donner. my blue 1 will go on trailer for strip and rebuild to specs it is now.
i am lucky enough to have a brilliant underbuild garage big enough for half dozen cars and a couple of 2 post ramps.. with 3 phase..i can no longer work due to illness so have lots of time on my hands,,

I have a 2004 330ci convertible as one of my daily's, I have a 2002 330D sport touring also. My E30 convertible is my fixer upper!! I'm on the hunt for a decent tech 1 boot spoiler that isn't £500... so I may go down the replica route for now.
My pair of daily's

il keep my eyes open for your spoiler. mine original along with sides. sorry but i cant sell it. im really quite looking forward to a bit of tinkering. im good for a couple of hours a day on me cars. i have def got the bug back foe my e30s. i almost sold em a couple of weeks ago along with my 318is e36. worked meself half to death for 30 years, i was sitting looking at em and thought i just wasnt gonna be capable of sorting them now so i put pics up on e30 fb site. i honestly had no idea what they where worth and i mean no idea. when i bought the white 1 with the wing damaged i paid £280 for it and havnt looked at them since. i was shocked when some started offering a grand then 1500,the last offer was 3000 on the white 1. then the haters came and just started slagging them off.id of probably understood if they slating me for letting them get like that and all this within hours. i looked out the window at whitey and thought it really aint that bad (fucking idiots) so i had another tea found a few spanners out me box of cobwebs and whipped the wing off lights out and had a good look. it had put a slight twist on the bumper bracket so whipped that off and made straight. a day an half and waiting on parts now..
yours are looking well, whats your e30 like? you in the middle end of resto or just after the kit to add

They are definitely worth keeping and playing with, and it makes you happy. I'm glad I told to you to come over here rather than get beaten down by Facebook idiots.
I've only owned my E30 for 2 weeks now and it has a starting issue that I'm working through. It's a totally original 320i manual car in dark blue which has a bit of rust in each corner. But is a solid car with loads of history - I just want a tech 1 boot spoiler and a Jimmy Hill front lip and nothing else. I've got some MIMS alloy wheels to put on but it won't be kitted out... all these parts are period correct and will suit it.
Here it is:

Thanks, dude! I haven't done any cleaning or detailing yet (rain is making it shine!) - i'm going to get it running and driving first, and i'm on nights at the moment so am doing a lot of sleeping at weird times of the day!
Yeah - the spoiler and lip is all it needs but i need new front wings and a bit of welding done but otherwise that's it. Oh, and a new roof at some point - it's watertight but could do with new fabric.
I missed out on a 330 sport cab but bought a 325 se cab and love it to bit`s, the 330 coupe sport was a bit "firm" for the old one.lol
Mart.
Only the E46 cab left now.
Just got too old.

I love my 330 sport vert, and i prefer the facelift E46 so it ticks all the boxes for me. I put the H&R shocks/springs cup kit on it and it was too firm and too low so i changed out the springs for Eibach's and it is now lovely, and low enough to look and handle good without ever rubbing!

If your planning to redo the seats (As in reupholster them) do let me know. I have a fairly good profile in doing E30 interior.buzzbee wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:49 pmthey are both going to need doing to be honest, both are going to need stripping right down and frames sorted out at the same time.airmanship wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 2:08 pmlooks good from inside. Some of the prices these days are crazy but I think I’ve seen a set of your wheels for good money but not £1800! But hey, if you can get that then take it

they look great. youve done a blinding job on them. can you pm me some prices. a close ballpark figure would be good, as ive said i have 2 to do with a possible 3rd next month to put in the que. any way i am in planning stages and like to have pretty much everything i need parts wise before i start. there will be no rush on gettting them done.
i will be talking everything door cards rear hood panel and so on.
i am torn on material to be used so if you could give me a ballpark on both leather and synthetic. i should mention once done they will be spending a bit of time in spain so will be out in the heat.
i am really liking the red they look stunning
i have just seen your in cov too which is great i am just in stoney stanton so not to far away
cheers craig
