Hi all Nickj788 here, just had my 1989 e30 delivered today, needs a bit of love but is already a stripped out trackday car. I've noticed the gear leaver is very loose and sloppy, it's a 2.5i ? I'm about to dip into this site to hopefully find the answer, wish me luck.

Welcome bud,

Sloppy gear lever could be the bushes are worn out.

Have a look in the wiki there's a guide in there on how to replace/upgrade them.

Any pics of the car?
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
getting oral sex off an ugly person is like rock climbing.....don't look down ;)
