Car of the Month April '09: "Council!"

Well wasn't last month nice. Pristine E30s looking like they'd just rolled out of the factory. Lovely. Thing is, it's not the 80s anymore - some people want to be a bit more up-to-date...

Now a modified E30 is never going to be to everyone's taste. Some people will undoubtedly refer to your pride and joy as council scrap. But be proud! This month we want to see the finest council E30s the zone has to offer.

So let's have your nominations for cars that wouldn't fit in with last months contestants, but that you think are great all the same. This isn't a chance to post rubbish, & you've only got one nomination each. Once again; no nominating your own car, nominations are open until the end of the month, & voting will be open for a week shortly after then.

Since one cannot nominate ones own turd I hearby nominate E30Beemerlads turd.

1. It has the stance, I.E on blocks
2. it has bits of nasty body kit badly attached
3. it has a black kidney grille
4. he really wanted a citroen BX , hence the sad lights
5. it has no tax or mot
6. it's on the register
7. The presence of bin bags and general detritus add to the council diarrohearama !
8. As further proof of the owners affinity to all things council ,his other turd is a jap import toyota with tints and an Irish plate.

Some eyebrows ,some ebay badgery, a glimpse of the soararse, a satellite dish , a discarded plasma and maybe a council aware / police aware sticker are the only way this pic could be 'improved' upon.

Since I no longer own my old turd (my nice insurance company kindly bought it off me) I nominate this 1989 Tech 2 Sport. Note the quality council parking having bounced off some road furniture and the snazzy flourish of gangsta-style Police Aware tape
