Thanks for your kind words to a chromie killerOllie_bwoii wrote:That's Just not going to bring the chrome back!beemerbird wrote:Ollie, I have just slapped myself on the back of the hand![]()
Ollie it was on its last legs (bodywork wise) when it started its transformation. And it's an SE, so the skirts and spoilers made it look less of a chromie.
Looks rather nice for a council E30!
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Umm, it's still a council turd at the moment. New wheels are in the process of being freshened up, Unmolested rear shelf should be with me saturday and I plan on doing a couple of track days in the coming months.
Still council, just a little more muted

Come on Lee , try a bit harder. Where are the old TV/empty stella bottles/bin bags/M badges/etc etc
I personally think the likes of Elf and Maxfields cars are not in keeping with the spirit of the contest.
Maybe next month we could have a " who has spent the most money making there E30 look like a pikeys christmas tree/caravan"

Well since Lee has upped the ante to such a degree with his stunning new shot of his lovely E30, I thought I would indulge in a little bit of beemerbird - style backlash
Interior retrim in blue leather piped with alpine (ish) white, complete with armrest for storing two cans of stella

More of the interior, showing detail of worn steering wheel and Haynes Manual (Bentley lives on the drivers' side)

The Mighty K and N - no council E30 should be without one

What? No stereo? Of course not. It's a six pot

The council E30 in its natural environment

this one could be the clincher, although I'm struggling to do better than the high rise in the background of Fi's pic
Sadly no discarded plasma boxes Peter or empties, but plenty of scrap laid around as the molestation takes place.

This is the second time you've posted pictures of your lesbian power - ranger friend. Is there something you're not telling usE30BeemerLad wrote:this one could be the clincher, although I'm struggling to do better than the high rise in the background of Fi's pic![]()

Rather fantastically, the towers are called 'Sunrise Estate' - my trusty E30 gets to park about 8 foot away from where it is in the picture.
