I've got a facet pump with a brise swirl pot. If your rallying I'd run the fuel lines through the car. That's where I'm going to put mine soon along with the rear brake line. 10mm Cu pipe x2 or braided hoses if your flush!!

we normally run the lines inside the cars, for safety, so they cant get ripped off or damaged. we found that the cheapest braided line was the TPFE hose,(approx £10pm) to keep costs down you can use steel fittings, although you would need to use bulkhead fittings front and back. the correct size lines would be -6jic which is approx 8mm inside.
there not to bad to fit, i have fitting instructions i can faxor email you if you would like a read first.
as for pumps, depends on whether you need to run a swirl pot, if so then you would need something like a facet red top, same as shorty's, then use a std cossie pump for the high pressure.(they are approx £65new from most motor factors) i think some people on here have used a red top, then the std bmw pump as the pressure.
if you would like any advice feel free to call me, as i dont mind talking through what would be needed. ive recently priced lines up for a customer and at a guess i think they where about £200 for steel fittings and braided lines. hope this helps
