Our annual 'members and friends' trackday.
As always all Zoners are welcome.
This is not a public day.. it's just us.. I do all the work, you just come and enjoy!
The entry is capped.. I close the book when we have made enough to pay the circuit.. last time that was just 46 entries.. so be quick if you want a place!

Monday, 14th July 2008

The circuit hire has increased by around 5%.. but the good news is that I can absorb this increase without increasing the cost to yourselves.. I shall just expect you to buy more raffle tickets!

So for a mere £150 you can take part in what is undoubtably one of the best trackdays on offer anywhere!

Those of you that have have been many times before will be familiar with our Croft events but for those that haven't here are some of the reasons why people keep coming back.

£150 per car and driver
Open pit lane all day
Free instruction
Free use of pit lane garages and facilities
Free overnight camping with wc and hot showers
Good value pub grub at lunchtime
Friendly club atmosphere
All standards catered for, novices to pro's
Friendly, aproachable circuit staff and event organisers
Fantastic, well kept circuit
Very easy to get to
Trophies and raffle prizes

I expect all the places to get sold out again this year so please dont delay get your entry form now!

Entry forms and enquiries here sykehouse@hotmail.com

Thanks for reading,
Nick

No replies yet..
Come on, there is no need to be shy!
There must be at least one of you that would like to come, or have you all had to sell your cars to pay the mortgage.

Joking apart. I know money is tight this year and we are all worried about spending on luxuries, but..

..if you are going to splash out on one thing you could do a lot worse than spend £150 on coming to Croft with us.

It really is the driving event of the summer and possibly one of the best trackdays you could ever be part of.

This will be our 14th one at Croft and I think we have knocked all the rough edges of by now. I have been involved with club trackdays now for around 20 years and have personally overseen many of our events. Non of our trackdays are done for profit and they are all club based with all drivers belonging to one club or another. You are in safe hands and good company.

You could always make Croft part of a mini break or a little tour.. the North Yorks / Teesside scenery is stunning with some great driving roads.

To add to your enjoyment, The BMW Car Club Concours of the North is to be held at Harewood House near Leeds the day before on Sunday July 13th (less than an hours drive apart).. you could do the show and then come up with us to the circuit and enjoy a few beers around the camp fire.. or the pub b+b if you prefer!

You see it's not just a trackday.. it's two top drawer events in one and always a brilliant craic.

It's two days out of your normal routine.. you can return to normal life on the Tuesday.. but I can guarantee you will have the 'feel good' buzz for a while longer than that!

Come on, call me... you know you want to!

Still spaces left for some of you at our trackday.. it would be a shame to waste them!
This is our double-header.. Harewood House BMWCC Concours of the North on the Sunday followed by the trackday at Croft on the Monday.

You are all invited to both. The pair of them are blue chip events and I am proud to say they are both handled and organised by our regional North East team.

If you do just one thing with your car this season you could do a lot worse than be part of one of these two.

Let me know if you are interested in either.

Nearly sold out now - only 6 places left.

So - if you have not yet paid in full and haven't got a confirmation pack from myself, then you had better sort yourselves out otherwise it will be too late!

Saying you are going to come is not good enough - your place is only secure when it is paid for.

Thats you Maxfield and one or two others.

e-mail me with a number to call and have your credit card handy

Finally done it..
I now have enough to pay for the circuit and all our outgoings... can sleep at night now!

If you have booked your place from reading this forum - thank you... enjoy!

Looks like I win the oldest lowest powered award

Might have to pull out all the stops and get my camshaft done - have a 284 catcam sitting in the workshop.
