As I've only been living on the Isle of Man since 1999 I missed it BUT I have a pal who watched this event - he said it was awesome, everyone was talking of this legend driving the BMW - no one was expecting him to win with such a huge margin over the other competitors - he wiped the floor with them - no real contest.
At the complete other end of the scale I'm doing my BARS exam on Sunday so will be trying a few of the moves out on the same roads as in the video...
All going well I hope to quadruple his time..

The Isle of Man: No National Speed Limit, No Gatso's, No Nanny State, a disused airfield track 1.5 miles long, the best mountain road to drive on...Come and Play!

Prodrive built car as far as i know, betting full weld in cage, Ohlin Coilovers, big brakes (AP or Brembo, probably AP) and a full BMW works 2.5 Evo engine....Rik178m wrote:Awesome! Anyone know the specs on that car?
But that's a guess... Not much coming up on google
BMW and Opel, both RWD, both german, both good fun
