When you say its stripped out have you removed everything? Underseal? Sound deadening? Sunroof? ect..

A zone chip will even out the flat spots for little outlay! £60ish
6 branch manifold may release a few ponies £200
big bore throttle body is a proven mod if a little pricey for what it is. (zone shop link EVOLVE above) other shops are available.
H&R roll bars,

I'm not sure about your choice of sspension no experience myself but haven't heard them spoken highly of.

Be easier to suggest options if I knew your budget.

Ok forget the 6 branch then

Or don't and fit a M20b25 engine! you kno you want to! winkeye

Or for £500 chip the 318is and get some roll bars. Also loose some more weight, theres alays the items I mentioned above, theres also about a foot and a half too much of dash that an angle grinder will sort, and always spare loom not being used. Theres also stuff in the bumpers.

Theres quite a few threads on the zone motorsport section hich document ingenious ways to get more weight out of your car.

Most E30s were fittd with the full loom which includes plug in points for extra options that ern't necessarily fitted, for example you'll find obc iring in there, possibly wiring for heated windscreen washers ect ect.

The H&R roll bars are thicker (stiffer) and adjustable.

i know it may be out of your budget but we are developing a throttle body kit using m3 e36 bodies. we have just finished developing a race loom to run the emerald k3 ecu as well. we are currently developing this on a customers car and should have pics and progress reports soon.

I was plannng on going this route too, I don't like the Dilabas ITBs since the cost as well as cylinder 1 looks like it could be starved of air...

Front wishbone bushes. Best mod £ for £ I've ever done (apart from change brake fluid!)

I'd look towards a roll cage with your setup.

Regular seats and seatbelts are designed to move and allow movement in an accident. If the car rolls there is a safety factor that allows you to bend forward or to one side.

With bucket seats and harnesses you are held upright. If the car rolls and the top of your helmet is higher than the top of the seat you get the full force onto your head, neck and spine.

Even if your helmet is lower, you then rely on the seat to withstand all the force of the roll. If mounted to factory positons rather than welded onto proper fabricated seat mounts, onto welded in plates and using high tensile bolts, the seat mountings can break wrapping the car around you.

Again in a side impact, harnesses won't allow you to move, and a lot of cars go off track sideways. If you brush along a barrier it's fine, but side on into a tyre wall with a seat and harness holding you in place? No thanks!

Worth thinking about at least...

For absolutely no cost. Remove the viscous fan, power steering pump, belt and the pulley. This has the same effect as lightening the flywheel.
Steering is only heavier below about 15 mph without pump.
Stratos.
318 is.

I have an iS with lightened m20 flywheel, quick shift, panel filter, jetex exhaust, evolve chip, and taken the heater plate off and last saturday i took it round curbrough sprint circuit. There is lots of accelerating from low speed corners and trying to get the power (dont laugh) down as quickly as possible. So next thing on my list is an LSD if i can find one, as i was just wheel spinning in 2nd and 3rd (yes it was raining and very greasy).
