Does anyone know anywhere in Scotland, preferably Glasgow or Inverness area but anything reasonably close will do, where I could get my car noise tested before I start taking it to track days? Or will the old Maplin special do fine and be accurate enough?
Thanks in advance

Just remember it should be tested at 1 metre from the exhaust tip and at a 90 degree angle (or 45 can't remember) from the tail pipe, ie. don't point it directly at the tail pipe. Different places have different specs on the engine speed during the test, some do idle some do drive by, so check with the venue first, or someones whos been there and had there car tested.
